We approach things holistically.
Counselling at Live You Well, is viewed holistically, meaning we approach things from a perspective that looks at the mind, body and soul specific to the clients situation. Kosta concentrates on helping clients to reconnect with their inner strength and uses it as the basis for cultivating healthy relationships, meaningful work opportunities and strong family links. Through clear guidance, obstacles that may be in the way of living ourselves may be overcome. The goal of each session is to empower through self-expression so that clients may experience life free of any expectation on how they should be or how they live.
Counselling through Live You Well helps unravel traumas, and undealt with hurts and triggers that keep life constrained. By working together we get to the root cause of the issue and rebuild the foundations, offering an opportunity to reset and redefine a way of life that is unencumbered by past experiences. Techniques are offered that can be used daily and/or applied to challenges that may occur in the future. These foundational building blocks allow for the possibility to live in a way where what has happened in the past no longer defines the present.
Being in tune with our most intimate feelings is vital for preserving physical and emotional health. When we feel at ease, both inside and out, it's a sign that we are authentically aligned with ourselves again – however sometimes reaching this place takes some extra support.
A range of counselling styles and approaches are offered to suit each clients unique situation. Many times a certain topic will be brought to the session that may take a different path to the route of the perceived issue. Nothing is too small or big to be addressed and everyone who works with Kosta is met with utmost respect, compassion, great care, focus and attention. Confidentiality is highly valued and maintained within the clinic.

What is strengths-based counselling?
Strengths-based counselling is a compassionate approach that treats the whole person, mind and body. It seeks to understand how our thoughts, feelings and behaviours are all interconnected by focusing on individual well-being rather than specific symptoms or diagnoses. A holistic counsellor dives deep into underlying issues which can empower individuals towards their own healing journey so they have an increased self-awareness of themselves as well as improved mental health overall.
What does a strengths-based counsellor do?
A strengths-based therapist provides an unique, personalised approach to helping individuals or couples heal and grow. Rather than just focusing on the issues at hand, this type of therapy encourages body connection tools such as meditation and awareness exercises that can lead to self-discovery and empowerment — all tailored according to your individual needs.
Kosta is more than happy to discuss the variety of options that are available and to create a tailored plan that can support you. Often talking to someone who is not part of your immediate circle, and someone who offers a safe space, to be honest, and vulnerable is all that is needed to shift stagnant issues.
