Meditation for Anxiety

M editation is a practice that can be used in many forms and for various purposes. From guided meditations to transcendental meditation, vipassana or mindfulness; each one serves its own purpose but the ultimate goal of reconnecting with your breath and body remains the same. Taking this time to reconnect with ourselves allows us to restore our essence despite feelings of anxiety, depression or lack of confidence – it takes persistence.

With persistence, we begin a journey of reconnecting with our truest selves. Over time, this restorative process helps to ease the anxieties that often plague us – giving us better sleep and allowing us to see life more clearly without anxiety-induced lenses or behaviours. We cultivate presence in ourselves which brings strength and courage even amidst challenges; meditation is an invaluable tool for finding inner connection during these times. And as we come back into alignment within ourselves, confidence follows close behind as we reintegrate into “normal” life again.

Through meditation, you can gradually master the art of being in touch with your true self. Whenever life gets overwhelming or when it seems like we have drifted away from our essence and purpose, meditation helps us to reconnect and restore balance within ourselves so that we may live fully committed lives.
